Choosing the Right Cycling Bicycles

There are lots of reasons to choose a bicycle as your primary means of transportation. The first thing to ensure is you get a bike that is the right size. To accomplish this you need know your inseam measurement. Simply measure through your inner leg from your groin to the bottom of your foot to find out your inseam. You should ideally be able to place both feet on the ground when sitting in on your bike. This is mainly for safety and will allow you to use your feet to stop the bike without the brakes if needed.

Do you require more features on the new bike? If you have to move things using your bike, you’ll certainly want to add a basket. Will you ever carry a child on your bike? A good example is a touring bike, with these bikes you will only need around 1" difference. With a mountain bike however you will need some more, 3 inches should suffice.
